A gas fire pit table made from a retired steel tank, with a hidden propane compartment and a cast ring top.

Raw material: retired steel tanks.

Tank cut open. The green one becomes the base.

Access door cut in so the propane tank hides inside.

Building the form for the ring-shaped top.

Top poured and screeded.

Top cured and out of the form.

Assembled: lava rock in, propane tucked behind the door.
